Q. Is RoboAnalyzer a free software?
A. Not really. Since its launch in 2009 from IIT Delhi till 2022 it was distributed FREE. RoboAnalyzer Team (through FITT, IIT Delhi) has entered into an exclusive license agreement (India and International) with Authorised Partner for the Sales and Support of RoboAnalyzer V 8.0 and above. Please contact Authorised Partner for further details.
Q. Why am I not able to launch RoboAnalyzer application?
A. Most likely, you have tried to launch RoboAnalyzer.exe from a zip folder or not activated the licence.
Q. Steps to successfully launch RoboAnalyzer?
1.Unzip the folder containing RoboAnalyzer.
2.Copy the license (XML) file into the License/License Manager folder in the RoboAnalyzer directory.
3.Run the License Manager application, which will confirm that RoboAnalyzer can now be started.
4.Finally, run the RoboAnalyzer application.
Q. Why is the 3D CAD model of the robot not loaded? I only see few coordinate frames.
A. 3D CAD models of robots are not loaded maybe because of Operating System (OS) setting which considers comma for decimal. Kindly make OS settings to consider dot as decimal delimeter and the models shall be shown. We are working on fixing this issue.
Q. Is Undo feature supported in RoboAnalyzer and Virtual Robot Module (VRM)?
A. Unfortunately it is not there. We shall try to implement in the versions to come.
